Sick burn: CNN analyst comes to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's defense by quoting fake line from SNL skit

We’re old enough to remember when Saturday Night Live was funny, which means we had tuned out long before Tina Fey became famous for her Sarah Palin impression.

And for some reason we can’t possibly understand, one line from one skit seemed to have flown over the heads of every American watching: no, Palin never said, “I can see Russia from my house.”

So it still blows our mind when, a full 10 years after that skit aired, people are still quoting it as fact to show how stupid Sarah Palin is.

Palin, rightfully so, joined the rest of the nation in ridiculing Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez when she declared that the three chambers of government are the president, the Senate, and the House.

Jumping to Ocasio-Cortez’s defense was CNN analyst and former FBI special agent Asha Rangappa, who used that line from SNL to put Palin in her place.

Excellent point:

We’d wager the former governor of Alaska knows a little more about civics that either Rangappa or Ocasio-Cortez. Enjoy rushing to defend your favorite socialist every time she opens her mouth.

Seems Rangappa, rather than admit she screwed up, decided she’d take credit for triggering the MAGA crowd, which will come as a surprise to all the #NeverTrumpers up there.

So you don’t deny that you played yourself.
